Might have come up before but I'll throw it out there just in case.
Any chance at more than one promoting instructor?
Fairly common to have the instructors instructor 'sign off' on things or a team of instructors come to a unified decision.
I'd like the ability to acknowledge all directly involved in my training and promotions.
Maybe a 'promoted by...' and an 'Authorized by...'
Could be useful for heads of affiliations to be able to confirm instructors who can promote 'for them' instead of constantly verifying that they 'promoted' someone when really their daily coach did and they just observed them not making a fool of themselves at a seminar. Still nods to the lineage and keeps them involved without having to be completely hands on.
For instance, John Will 'promoted' me... Really the team of coaches put me forward and John trusts them.

You can already write that as free text in the "Promoted by" field, but even though I like the idea of being able to tag more than one promoting instructor (who can confirm the promotion individually), I really don't think Beltchecker should have a field labeled "authorized by", as that is a quite controversial practice, nulling out the usual belt requirements to promote someone to a certain belt. Either you were (co)promoted by someone legit or you weren't promoted by someone legit. If you were promoted by someone not legit authorized by someone legit (who did not co-promote, even by proxy), you were still promote by someone not legit.
It is another thing that someone who is very rarely on Beltchecker can write in their profile (possible already now) that "I'm very rarely online here myself, but promotions from me that are verified by XXXX XXXX (my most senior student) can be trusted just as if I had confirmed the promotions myself". I've never seen anyone do that yet, but I would be totally fine with it. Still not same as "authorized by".
i dont know if this is the best place, but i think i found a small bug.
Whenever i am at my coaches page, the Thumbnail of the coach seem to point to my own profile, while the "text" of the name is linked to the coaches profile.
It is a kind of magic after the relaunch:
I didn‘t receive any vote,
I didn‘t receive any reaction to my votes,
I didn‘t have had any individual interaction (wall notice, pm, etc.) on the platform at all.
-Is there a new „ghost“- modus I didn’t notice and I am in?

New interface and lack of activity on your profile likely has nothing to do with each other, sorry 🙂
"When I update my promotions does it notify previous verifiers to vote again? I’m not unverified and doesnt seem like they would know to vote again."
Yes it does. So also often worth the trouble to to necessary corrections in the info, which might otherwise hold off more voters from verifying (many members are far too reluctant to make corrections once they have some voting points).

Sorry, I didint mean changes to existing information. specifically just adding promotion to brown, would my teammates that voted for blue, purple, etc get a notification to vote from brown?

Same thing if you add a new degree as if you change anything central in the info of an existing degree. Except for degrees based on time on BB, which you currently need no re-verification for (but you do if you enter promoted-by for the new degrees on BB).

Is there a way set your training history so you can view everything by an individual year. So each year I can see how many rolls or classes I've taken?
It is nice to see things get updated as we go. Frameworks improve and offer new functionalities to take advantage of. Keep up the great work. A dark mode would be nice at some point.

You can download the data as a .csv file and use Excel to analyse the number of your rolls per year.
